The Public Justice Center approached commissioned me to create a work of original sculpture that could be given annually to an outstanding advocate for Latino rights in the state of Maryland. The really cool thing about this award is that each recipient only gets to keep it for one year, after which they present it to the next winner.

The marble relief is mounted on a polished marble base.
