Meredith Cole teaches mystery writing and novel writing at the University of Virginia.

Meredith was nominated for an Agatha Award in 2010 for Best First Mystery Novel for POSED FOR MURDER

Her second book, DEAD IN THE WATER,
came out in 2010. The book continues
the adventures of Lydia McKenzie in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Dutch translation of the book, AANGESPOELD, came out in February 2011.

She had a lovely profile piece in the local paper, The Hook in 2010.
